    “Body Mass” is a 45-minute electronic celebration of just a fraction of the chaos and complexity that makes us human.

    The first half comprises “130 over 80”, symbolically representing blood pressure, and “Vena Cava” the circulatory system. Two maladies then conclude the set; “Pneumo Thorax” – the collapsing lung – and the electro-choral “Dysphonic Voices”.

    "Vena Cava" is currently playing on YouTube (youtu.be/vGwayDyvPck) to give a visual illustration of the concept.

    Unlike earlier Simfonica collections, no physical or electronic percussion has been used to underpin the melodic flow. Rhythmically, “Body Mass” is an experiment in pure electronic processing…
